Hitachi Transport System Europe supports Make-A-Wish charity

As a partner of the Hitachi Group, which has its roots in consumer electronics, we are leveraging our used IT components, TVs, projectors and mobile phones to support a good cause. The residual value of all of such items will be assessed and part of that value will be donated to charity. Since technology holds the key to the future – which is something that children with a life-threatening condition unfortunately cannot take for granted – we have chosen to support the Dutch Make-A-Wish foundation. Each year, this charity makes wishes come true for over 500 seriously ill children and young people aged between 3 and 18 years old, offering them a brief respite from their medical situation. We hope that our donation will enable the charity to make even more children’s wishes come true this year and allow them to feel like a child again for a while, rather than a patient.
